Between October 22 and 23, bat manufacturer and sponsor Louisville Slugger unveiled the finalists for the 2025 American League and National League Silver Slugger Awards. Many familiar names, including several from the American and National League champions, litter the list.

Just a handful of teams dominated the AL nominations. The Yankees had four, including two outfielders. Kansas City picked up three, as did the Athletics.
The American League champion Toronto Blue Jays had four nominations, with George Springer receiving two: one for the outfield and another at DH. Kansas City also received four nominations.
Seattle, the runner-up in the AL, had three, headlined by Major League home run leader Cal Raleigh.
The Mariners, Yankees, and Blue Jays received the Silver Slugger team nominations.
