Here’s a look at our best MLB bets for March 31 (odds via BetMGM New York Sportsbook):
- Diamondbacks ML after five innings (-200)
- Pirates/Marlins over 8.5 runs (-105)
The Diamondbacks beat up the Rockies in each of the last two games and will have young phenom Brandon Pfaadt on the mound for the series finale.
Meanwhile, Colorado will send Ryan Feltner, who’s posted inconsistent results in each of the last two seasons.
As for our second pick, the Pirates and Marlins have had three high-scoring games against each other this past weekend. All three games have seen nine or more runs scored.
Bailey Falter and Trevor Rogers are the two starters and yes, that means the Pirates will face another left-handed starting pitcher. Pittsburgh chased both A.J. Puk and Ryan Weathers in each of the last two games, as neither lasted more than four innings.
