For the fourth year in a row, Sony will add new Negro League legends to MLB The Show through the Storylines mode. MLB The Show 26 will feature 10 new legends, with the marquee name being legendary NL figure and Dodgers legend Roy Campanella.
New Negro League Legends for MLB The Show 26
Here are the Storyline Legends that’ll be added to MLB The Show 26 through the agreement with the Negro League Museum:
- Willard Brown (“Ese Hombre”)
- Roy Campanella
- Ray Dandridge
- Pete Hill
- Mamie Johnson (“Peanut”)
- John Henry Lloyd (“Pop”)
- Ted Radcliffe (“Double Duty”)
- Mule Suttles
- Willie James Wells (“El Diablo”)
- Joe Williams (“Smokey”)
The big standout name among the bunch is Roy Campanella, a Baseball Hall of Famer who made his name in the Negro Leagues before he became a superstar with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
John Henry Lloyd is also a Baseball Hall of Famer. Lloyd was a superstar with Atlantic City and the New York Lincoln Giants during the 1920s.
Pete Hill and Mule Suttles are also Hall of Famers. Suttles was one of the most accomplished hitters in Negro League history, recognized as a two-time batting champion and a triple crown winner in 1926.
All in all, 10 players will be included as part of Season 4 of Storylines. The ones for Wells, Williams, Dandridge, Brown, Radcliffe, and Hill will be added to MLB The Show 26 as part of a free update in April 2026. Sony has done this in the past, splitting up Storyline drops throughout the year.
