For the second straight Spring Training, the Dodgers walk into it as the reigning World Series champions. And, many of the team’s current top prospects will get some time with the champs during camp this spring in Arizona. Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope, & Jackson Ferris were among the non-roster invites for the Dodgers’ 2026 Spring Training roster.

The prospects

The headliner of this group is Josue De Paula, arguably the best prospect in a deep Dodgers farm system.

Aside from De Paula, the notable prospects include a bunch of players that the Dodgers didn’t draft — but instead, acquired via trade. Zyhir Hope and Jackson Ferris, the two prospects acquired for Michael Busch, will be with the big club in Arizona.

We’ll start with Hope, the 21-year-old outfielder who hit 13 home runs and 45 extra-base hits, plus 27 stolen bases, between High-A and Double-A. The big flaw in Hope’s game is the swing-and-miss, which is not a shock given the power potential. His Whiff% last season in High-A was above 34%, among the highest in the Midwest League.

Ferris, meanwhile, finished 2025 as among the best strikeout pitchers in the Texas League in terms of volume. As we noted in our farm review, Ferris didn’t have an elite swing-and-miss rate with Tulsa. However, he set up a lot of groundballs and limited the well-hit contact.

The Dodgers will also have outfielders Zach Ehrhard and James Tibbs III, the two hitters picked up for Dustin May last July.

Tibbs III is a former first-round pick who can hit for power and get on base. However, Ehrhard, a fourth-rounder by Boston in 2024, had arguably a better run in Double-A last season. The 23-year-old hit 13 extra-base hits over 34 contests with Tulsa and posted one of the highest FB% to go with a low swing-and-miss rate.

Another prospect acquired via trade by the Dodgers was left-hander Adam Serwinowski, one of the top swing-and-miss pitchers in the Midwest League. Between Dayton and Great Lakes, Serwinowski struck out 136 batters over 108.2 IP.

The 21-year-old Serwinowski has some of the funkiest, shortest arm action you’ll see. However, between the deception and pitch arsenal, Serwinowski has the potential to be another steal. Mid-90s fastball coupled with a mid-80s changeup and a slider.

The Dodgers also invited speedster Kendall George, who swiped 100 bases last season with High-A Great Lakes. George was the 36th overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft by Los Angeles.

Other prospects going to Arizona with the big club are Noah Miller, Luke Fox, Chris Newell, Patrick Copen, Carson Hobbs, Nelson Quiroz, Griffin Lockwood-Powell, Chris Campos, Jerming Rosario, Lucas Wepf, and Jose Rodriguez.

Other notables

Left-hander Garrett McDaniels was a Rule 5 Draft pick in 2024 by the Los Angeles Angels. The left-hander pitched in 10 games with the Angels before the Dodgers’ interleague rival returned him to the team that made him a pro baseball player. He struck out 36 over 30 innings with the Comets last season.

McDaniels will headline a list of pitchers that includes Jordan Weems, Ryder Ryan, Cole Irvin, Nick Frasso, Wyatt Mills, and former Rockies farmhand Antoine Kelly.

As for the position players, catchers Chuckie Robinson and Seby Zavala will be in camp, as well as ex-Tigers farmhand Eliezer Alfonzo. Former Twin Ryan Fitzgerald, ex-Pirates prospect Matt Gorski, and Nick Senzel are on the non-roster list, as well.
