On October 3, the 9th Inning Program for MLB The Show 25 Diamond Dynasty went live. The latest update to the XP path added three new 99 OVR cards to the game, all of whom should be highly popular. Among them are an Awards Series card of former World Series MVP Corey Seager, and a 99 OVR Retro Finest of former cover athlete Andrew McCutchen.

How to make progress

The same as every other Inning Program: play games within Diamond Dynasty. It also helps for those who have outstanding XP that hasn’t been yet claimed in programs.

Aside from that, individuals who have collected all three 99 OVR 8th Inning Bosses can get a 50,000 XP voucher for the 9th Inning. Up to 50,000 XP can also be earned through player exchanges.

There are also drop missions, the first of which went live on October 3:

  • Tally 12 strikeouts in any game modes (5,000 XP)
  • Tally 25 home runs in any game modes (7,500 XP)
  • Tally 75 extra-base hits in any game modes (10,000 XP)

The second batch will be released on October 17.

Bosses & 9th Inning Evolutions

At 115,000 XP, Diamond Dynasty players can unlock a 99 OVR Retro Finest Joc Pederson as a mini-boss. This is an untradeable card.
