On December 5, the MLB The Show 25 team dropped a new player program in Diamond Dynasty. This one features another Hall of Famer, in former Athletics pitcher Dennis Eckersley. A 99 OVR Hall of Fame card of Eckersley, plus packs and XP, are in the newest program.

Here are the rewards found in the Dennis Eckersley Program in MLB The Show 25:
- 10 Points: 10,000 XP
- 20 Points: Ballin’ is a Habit pack (x3)
- 30 Points: 10,000 XP
- 40 Points: Deluxe Choice Pack
- 50 Points: 99 OVR Hall of Fame Dennis Eckersley and 10,000 XP
This path follows the same template as the one for the Lou Brock Program released in November. It includes the same amount of packs and XP, with Eckersley replacing Brock as the final reward.

How to make progress
Here are the tasks for this program:
- Complete five Moments (50 pts. – 10 pts. each)
- Stat Missions:
- Tally 390 PXP with Athletics (10 pts.)
- Tally one win with any starting pitcher (SP) (10 pts.)
- Tally one save with any closing pitcher (RP) (10 pts.)
- Tally five innings pitched with primary starting pitchers (10 pts.)
- Tally five strikeouts with primary closing pitchers (10 pts.)
- Tally 350 PXP with any Dennis Eckersley card (10 pts.) (OPTIONAL)
Much like the Brock Program, this can be completed entirely through the missions. Or, do the stat missions. Or, a combination of the two.
Also, be mindful that for the save & strikeout missions, use pitchers with the CP designation, not RP.
For those wondering about using a lower-rated version of Eckersley for the optional PXP Mission, there is a 92 OVR Awards Series version of him. It can be obtained either in the marketplace or via the Battle Royale Rewind packs.
