The MLB The Show 25 soundtrack features “The Magic Number” by De La Soul, fitting the theme of the cover. Three cover athletes were featured on the cover for the first time, and on May 13, the MLB The Show 25 team dropped the Magic Number Conquest map. Much like the song, three is the theme for this map.
Map and Goals
Here’s a look at the map. As the name suggests, it’s in the shape of the number ‘3’:
Given the theme, there are three teams in it: the Reds, Orioles, and Pirates. Those are the teams of the three cover athletes for the game.
There are five goals for this MLB The Show 25 Conquest. Here are the five goals:
- Goal 1: Acquire 33M fans (rewards are 500 Stubs and 1,000 XP)
- Goal 2: Capture the Reds Stronghold (rewards are Silver Player Pack and 1,000 XP)
- Goal 3: Capture the Pirates Stronghold (rewards are Silver Player Pack and 1,250 XP)
- Goal 4: Capture the Orioles Stronghold (rewards are Silver Player Pack and 1,250 XP)
- Goal 5: Conquer all Territories on the map (reward is MLB The Show 25 pack (x5)) (REPEATABLE)
Repeatable rewards
One can only re-do Goal 5 over and over again. That’ll yield five MLB The Show 25 packs, every time the Conquest map is completed.

Here’s a look at all the hidden rewards that can be found in the Magic Number Conquest:

- Deluxe Mystery pack
As of this writing, there are three options for the Deluxe Choice Pack: MLB Pipeline, New Threads, and Egg Hunt.
