Every year, Sony releases Finest content for MLB The Show in November, and that is no different for MLB The Show 26. This year’s content actually started in late October, before Diamond Dynasty saw a treasure trove of 2026 Finest cards released in November. Here’s what is out as of now.

It was the first of three scheduled 2026 Finest Program drops, which are set to continue on the 5th and 6th, respectively.

How to make progress

Here are the tasks for Program #1:

• Complete six Moments (30 pts. – 6 pts. each)
• Finest Program #1 Missions:
  • Tally five innings with 2026 Finest players from this program (10 pts.)
  • Tally five hits with 2026 Finest players from this program (10 pts.)
  • Tally 500 PXP with 2026 Finest players from this program (10 pts.)
  • Tally 1,500 PXP with 2026 Finest players from this program (10 pts.)
  • Tally 2,500 PXP with 2026 Finest players from this program (10 pts.)
  • Tally 4,000 PXP with 2026 Finest players from this program (10 pts.) (REPEATABLE)
• 2026 Finest Series Missions:
  • Tally 15 hits with 2026 Finest players (5 pts.)
  • Tally eight extra-base hits with 2026 Finest players (5 pts.)
  • Tally 10 innings pitched with 2026 Finest players (5 pts.)
  • Tally 15 strikeouts with 2026 Finest players (5 pts.)
  • Tally 5,000 PXP with 2026 Finest players (10 pts.)
  • Tally 6,000 PXP with 2026 Finest players (10 pts.) (REPEATABLE)
• Stat Missions:
  • Tally 26 hits with any players (10 pts.)
  • Tally 26 innings pitched with any players (10 pts.)
  • Tally 26 strikeouts with any players (10 pts.)

The good news for this one is that the Moments are skippable. Granted, it will be easier to just complete them and get the first four cards in this Program. That will help with the Program #1-specific Missions.

Still, it’s very doable, especially for those who have 2026 Finest cards outside of this program.

One last reminder: Retro Finest cards won’t work for this one.

How to obtain them

Traditionally, Team Affinity has been a haven for these end-game Finest cards to be found. But with Team Affinity largely abandoned for ’26, these cards can instead be found in various packs, plus game modes within Diamond Dynasty:

• Chase Pack: 1 (J. Soto)
• Pack #1: 8 (Tatis Jr., Duran, Ohtani, W. Urena, M. Vargas, S. Gray, Bednar, Abrams)
• Program #1: 11
• Ranked: 2 (Buxton, Harper)
• Weekend Classic/Marketplace: 2 (McLean, Reynolds)
