On June 26, Sony and the MLB The Show 26 team released the June Countdown Program in Diamond Dynasty. Its contents include two Red Diamonds, one of which is a 96 OVR Ronald Acuna Jr., but how this program is structured is very different compared to the previously released ones in The Show 26.

June Countdown Program

First, let’s start with the June Countdown Program contents in MLB The Show 26:

• 10 Points: 5,000 XP
• 20 Points: MLB The Show 26 pack (x5)
• 30 Points: 5,000 XP
• 40 Points: 2,000 Stubs
• 50 Points: 95 OVR Standout Zack Britton
• 60 Points: 10,000 XP
• 70 Points: Bullpen Bash 1 Choice Pack
• 80 Points: 10,000 XP
• 90 Points: 4,000 Stubs
• 100 Points: 96 OVR Awards Ronald Acuna Jr.
• 110 Points: 30,000 XP
• 120 Points: 5,000 Stubs
• 130 Points: 30,000 XP
• 140 Points: Rising Rookies Choice Pack
• 150 Points: 75,000 Stubs

Unlike most programs in MLB The Show 26, the cards obtainable through it can be sold.

How to make progress

There are three tiers of missions for this one:

• Easy Missions:
  • Win one game in any game mode (10 pts.)
  • Tally five hits in a single game in any game mode (10 pts.)
  • Tally two or more stolen bases in a single game in any multiplayer mode (10 pts.)
  • Strike out three or more batters in a single game in any game mode (10 pts.)
  • Tally one plate appearance with 96 OVR Nasim Nunez in any game mode (10 pts.)
• Medium Missions:
  • Win two games in Ranked Seasons (10 pts.)
  • Tally 10 home runs in any multiplayer game mode (10 pts.)
  • Tally 2,500 PXP with any multiplayer game mode (10 pts.)
  • Tally 1,500 PXP (hint: Junior Caminero Live Series) with Supercharged players (10 pts.)
  • Tally 10 strikeouts in any multiplayer game mode (10 pts.)
• Hard Missions:
  • Tally five wins in Battle Royale (10 pts.)
  • Tally 1,000 PXP with 96 OVR Awards Castellanos (Events/Marketplace) (10 pts.)
  • Tally 24 strikeouts in one game in any game mode (10 pts.)
  • Tally 15 runs in Ranked Seasons (10 pts.)
  • Tally 10 hits in one game in any multiplayer mode (10 pts.)

The June Countdown Program is a tiered one, meaning that MLB The Show 26 players must complete all of the missions in the Easy section to move on to the next one. Meaning, progress will not stack.

It will require online multiplayer progress, as there are two missions focused on it via the Easy Missions folder.

Completing the Easy & Medium Missions, in total, will unlock both the 95 OVR Britton & 96 OVR Acuna Jr.

To get the 96 OVR Spotlight Nasim Nunez, one must complete an assortment of Missions and/or Moments to get to 50 points in the June Spotlight Drop 3 Program.

When does it expire?

This program will expire on July 1, 2026, at 2:59 AM ET.
