MLB The Show 26 St. Patrick's Day Program: Rewards & how to make progress

The worldwide launch date for MLB The Show 26 fell on March 17, also St. Patrick’s Day. And to celebrate the holiday, Sony released a new program and themed cards inside Diamond Dynasty. Among the notable rewards is an 89 OVR Alfonso Soriano, obtainable through the completion of the aptly-named St. Patrick’s Day Program.

Here’s a look at the rewards in the MLB The Show 26 St. Patrick’s Day Program:

5 Points: St. Patrick’s Day bat
10 Points: St. Patrick’s Day Pack or MLB The Show 26 pack
20 Points: St. Patrick’s Day Pack or MLB The Show 26 pack
30 Points: St. Patrick’s Day Pack or MLB The Show 26 pack
40 Points: St. Patrick’s Day Pack
50 Points: 89 OVR Alfonso Soriano & 4,000 XP

Players are guaranteed one St. Patrick’s Day Choice Pack. There are also three stages where a player could receive either it or a regular MLB The Show 26 pack.

The St. Patrick’s Day pack includes Wade Boggs, Ryan O’Hearn, Kyle Finnegan, Adam Dunn, James McCann, and Whitey Ford, who are pullable cards. Dunn, Finnegan, and Boggs are 89 OVR cards and are in the rare round. There’s also a 90 OVR Mike Trout that is the special insert.

How to make progress

These are the tasks for this program:

Tally 30 hits with 80-84 OVR players (10 pts.)
Tally 15 extra-base hits with 80-84 OVR players (10 pts.)
Tally five stolen bases with 80-84 OVR players (10 pts.)
Tally 15 innings pitched with 80-84 OVR players (10 pts.)
Tally 15 strikeouts with 80-84 OVR players (10 pts.)
PXP Missions:
- Tally 3,000 PXP with Orioles, Tigers, Athletics, and/or Astros players (5 pts.)
- Tally 3,000 PXP with Mets and/or Giants players (5 pts.)
- BONUS: Tally 300 PXP with any Riley Greene player item (5 pts.)
- BONUS: Tally 300 PXP with any Hunter Greene player item (5 pts.)

There’s a play on green and gold in this program. Anyone who has a Riley or Hunter Greene card has the option to complete two extra PXP Missions. However, one can finish this program just by using Gold cards, which are 80-84 OVR in Diamond Dynasty.

PXP and stat-based missions can be completed in 1v1 Ranked, Ranked co-op, Battle Royale, Events, Conquest, Mini Seasons, Play vs. CPU, and Diamond Quest games.
