Hunter Greene over 5.5 strikeouts (-155)
Salvador Perez over 1.5 H+R+RBI (-105)

It’s been a strange year for Hunter Greene, the Reds fireballer who’s looked like an elite superstar during some starts but struggled with command in some, as well. On the 14th, Greene will get the D-Backs for the second time in a week.

It was an uneven game for Greene, who struck out six but also conceded an early home run to Joc Pederson and doubles to Christian Walker and Eugenio Suarez.

But armed with an elite fastball, which helped Greene post an above-average 29.8% Whiff% rate in 2024 as of May 14, and a very good slider, the young righty’s hit the over on this mark in seven of eight starts this season.

As for our second pick, Salvador Perez and the Royals will face Logan Gilbert and the Mariners on May 14. It’s been a strong season for Perez, who’s hitting .322 on the season with a .928 OPS (161 OPS+) and eight home runs on the season.

Perez has 48 hits over his first 41 games and hits in seven of his first 11 games during May. The Royals catcher/first baseman didn’t record a hit on the 13th but we like him for this matchup.
