Here’s a look at our best MLB bets, or bet, given the few number of games, for May 23 (odds via BetMGM New York Sportsbook):
- Mariners/Yankees under eight runs (-110)
The Yankees and Mariners have scored over eight combined runs in each of the first three games in their four-game series. Nine runs were scored on May 20 in a game where Clay Holmes blew the save opportunity for the Yankees and that stretch continued on the 22nd when Aaron Judge and Juan Soto went deep for three combined home runs.
The series will conclude on the 23rd with a pair of hot pitchers on the mound. Luis Gil struck out 14 batters last weekend against the White Sox, while Luis Castillo has conceded two or fewer runs in each of his last five starts.
It’s an early game that’ll start at 12:35 PM ET/9:35 AM PT.
We won’t go with multiple MLB bets for May 23, though, due to the light schedule.
