With three weeks left in the 2025 college baseball regular season, we’re getting to the good part of the year. As expected, the SEC came out of Week 11 in a strong position, holding six of the top 11 spots in the latest coaches’ poll. However, two other non-SEC powers moved into the top-10.
First, here’s the post-Week 11 coaches’ poll rankings, courtesy of USA Today:
- Texas

Georgia Tech was the only school to fall out from last week. It marked another week where the Yellow Jackets fell, as Georgia Tech dropped nine spots last week.
UC Irvine had a banner week, defeating UCLA in a midweek affair before sweeping Big West rival Cal Poly over the weekend. The Anteaters move to 32-9 overall and 19-2 during conference play.
This season has not been defined by junior Anthony Martinez, who headed into 2025 as one of the better players in all of college baseball. Rather, UC Irvine’s offense has been led by junior Colin Yeaman and sophomore Jacob McCombs, both of whom were transfers who’ve been massive hits in Irvine.
Both are batting almost .400 on the year, and Yeaman owns a team-high .733 SLG.
As for Oregon, the Ducks took all three games the team played this weekend against Oregon State, who slid down nine spots. The schools will meet again on April 29, although this game will be in Corvallis. Oregon took all three games in Eugene, with a combined score of 20-5.
That cumulative score is somewhat misleading, though, thanks to the Ducks’ 13-1 victory on the 26th.
In other top-25 news, Oklahoma continues to go through growing pains in the SEC. In the battle of the Branches, Kolby Branch‘s Bulldogs took two of three in Athens this weekend.
Kyson Witherspoon, who’s moving himself into a likely top 15 spot in the 2025 MLB Draft, struck out eight over seven innings to continue his great 2025 season. However, Georgia took the next two.
Oklahoma will be at home for two of the final three weeks of the regular season. The Sooners host Ole Miss and Texas, with a trip to Lexington sandwiched in between.
Lastly, Arkansas will host #1 Texas this weekend — and the Razorbacks won’t be going in on a good note. The Razorbacks lost two of three to Colby Shelton, Liam Peterson, and the Florida Gators this past weekend.
Peterson struck out 13 Razorbacks on April 25, continuing his rise up the 2026 MLB Draft board. Two days later, the Gators chipped away at a 5-1 deficit to win and take the series.
It’s been a sharp fall for Arkansas, who were #1 in the coaches’ poll at one point this month. Six of their nine losses have been in April.
