We’ve reached Week 20 of the 2025 Major League Baseball season. It was a big week for several hitters, and there are a couple of players who fantasy players should take note of. Among them are a rejuvenated hitter in Cincinnati and a sophomore slugger in The Bronx.

Best Week 20 hitters to target

After up-and-down years with the Yankees, Miguel Andujar has found his groove in Cincinnati.

Andujar had a great week for the Reds, as the veteran infielder/outfielder hit .348 (8-23) with two home runs and six RBI over six games. It continued what has been a great month for the 30-year-old, who hit .359 with three home runs and nine RBI overall in the month.

Speaking of the Yankees, Ben Rice has remained a regular for the Yankees despite the logjam the team has at the first base and DH slots. Now, part of that has been because Rice can play catcher. The other part of it is that Rice has been a great overall hitter.

Rice ripped it up on August 16 with a seven-RBI night against the Cardinals. And overall, the catcher/first baseman has hit .298 with two home runs and 10 RBI over the month.

The 26-year-old has been a favorite here for a while, simply because of all that power. Rice is two home runs away from his first 20-home run season in the Majors.

Two other names listed as Week 20 targets are both names who came into the year with considerable helium.

Brenton Doyle’s power/speed combo helped him pick up 23 home runs and 30 stolen bases last year. He’s not close to that in 2025. But, Doyle hit .360 with four home runs thus far in August, helping those who’ve stuck with him this season.

Jonathan India, meanwhile, is hitting when he’s in the lineup. India hit .308 with two home runs and four RBI this past week.

Lastly, speedster Chandler Simpson hit .435 (10 hits) over the last week. That’s a good sign, especially since to use that speed, getting on base is essential.

Overview of Week 19

Much like with Week 18, we hoped you listened to our Week 19 advice.

Jakob Marsee had an outstanding week, as he hit .318 with three home runs and nine RBI, the latter figure was tied for second in the Majors over the last week. Ramon Laureano, meanwhile, hit .474 with three home runs in what was a massive week for the Padres outfielder.

And, our success wasn’t limited to those two.

Jurickson Profar also had a nice week, as he went 7-24 (.292 AVG) with a home run and six RBI. Luke Keaschall picked up six hits in the last week.
