We’re just a little over a month away from the start of the 2026 post-season conference tournaments. However, several schools have separated themselves from the pack. That sentiment rings true for UCLA and Georgia Tech. And after Week 9, Texas A&M and Coastal Carolina have put themselves in better positions to host a regional come late May.

UCF and NC State fell out of the top-25.

In what was perhaps the most anticipated college baseball series in two years, the Texas A&M Aggies took the two games that the school played against Jim Schlossnagle and Texas in College Station. The Aggies put up 20 combined runs across the two games played. A third one was cancelled due to inclement weather.

Gavin Grahovac had two multi-hit contests in the series. Caden Sorrell, meanwhile, had seven total bases in the finale, thanks to a home run, single, and double.

UCLA, meanwhile, extended its win streak to 27 with a three-game sweep of Rutgers in New Jersey. The Bruins’ offense picked up in the final two games of the series. And in the first contest, pitcher Logan Reddemann struck out 18 Scarlet Knights in an extra-innings win.

Georgia Tech swept Florida State in arguably the most notable series in terms of top teams over the weekend. The Yellow Jackets overcame a deficit in Game 1 in Atlanta, then pounded the Seminoles over the final two games. Drew Burress had four hits in the final contest, a 17-3 win.

The Florida Gators moved up six points after a road series win against Georgia. It ended a 3-1 week for the Gators, who have now taken two major road series (one against UGA, one against Arkansas) after a disastrous sweep a month ago in Alabama.

Coastal Carolina had a good week, as the Chanticleers took two of three on the road against Arkansas State after taking a midweek neutral-site game over Wake Forest. CCU will get the Demon Deacons again this week, giving the school a chance to sweep the three-game series.

Kansas, meanwhile, jumped into the top-25 after a three-game sweep of UCF at home. The Jayhawks improved to 10-3 in Big 12 play heading into a road weekend matchup versus Oklahoma State.

Nebraska took a tumble after the school lost two of three to Oregon on the road.
