It’s time for another week of risers & fallers for the 2026 fantasy baseball season. For differing reasons, Alex Bregman & Francisco Lindor have not been hits for fantasy players this season. But over the past little while, the two have been very good for both their respective clubs & fantasy owners. Here’s who are up and down as Week 17 concludes.

Risers

• 1B Munetaka Murakami (White Sox)
• SP Drew Rasmussen (Rays)
• 1B/OF Kyle Stowers (Marlins)

Welcome back, Munetaka Murakami. Murakami hit four home runs over the last week, tied with now-first baseman Kyle Stowers of the Miami Marlins for first in the week. It’s a positive step forward for Murakami, who was “money” during the first third of the season, as well as a 2025 NL All-Star in Stowers.

Speaking of All-Stars, Francisco Lindor is making the most of his time amidst a sunken season for the Mets, at least over the last week. Nine hits, three of which were home runs, over the last seven games for the switch-hitting shortstop.

And Alex Bregman has posted, arguably, his best stretch of the year in recent weeks. Twelve hits in his last six games for the Cubs third baseman, who hasn’t hit for as much power in the Friendly Confines this season.

And, back to the All-Stars, Drew Rasmussen has been simply excellent over the last week. He had nineteen strikeouts over his last 13 innings for the Rays across two dominant outings against AL Central opponents. Rasmussen, who can give hitters fits thanks to one of the best cutters in the game, coupled with a deep arsenal, didn’t allow a run during either of his two starts.

Griffin Jax struck out 10 over 5.2 IP for the Rays this past week, allowing just one earned run.

Fallers

• SS Gunnar Henderson (Orioles)
• SP George Kirby (Mariners)
• OF Brandon Marsh (Phillies)
• SS Zach Neto (Angels)
• OF Tristan Peters (White Sox)

The second half, at least right now, has not been kind to Tristan Peters. Peters is currently 0 for his last 22 at-bats, and just one RBI that came off a walk-off walk against the Yankees earlier this week. Not the best stretch, to say the least.

Brandon Marsh, who was fairly consistent over the first half, went two for his last 20.

Gunnar Henderson’s strange 2026 campaign continues over the last week with a 3-for-22 stretch for the Orioles. Zach Neto, whose name popped up in trade rumors, went three for his last 30.

Foster Griffin and George Kirby were both knocked around this week against the Braves and Rangers, respectively.
