While it has been a tough 2026 for fantasy owners of Blake Snell & Cal Raleigh — for different reasons, mind you — this past week was a breath of fresh air. Or better yet, a turn back to the 2025 season. Here’s a look at risers & fallers from Week 21 of the 2026 fantasy baseball season.

Risers

• SP Cade Cavalli (Nationals)
• OF Daylen Lile (Nationals)
• OF Tristan Peters (White Sox)
• C Cal Raleigh (Mariners)
• SP Blake Snell (Dodgers)
• OF Seiya Suzuki (Cubs)

Amidst a team full of players tough to get out right now in Chicago (ex., Pete Crow-Armstrong & Alex Bregman), Seiya Suzuki has quietly been just as productive. Suzuki, as of August 29, was tied for second in the Majors over the last seven days in hits (11) and also drove in five runs, too.

Daylen Lile also tied for second. Seven of Lile’s 11 hits were extra-base hits, three of which were doubles and three home runs. While Lile hasn’t been able to replicate what he did in the second half last year over a full-162-game season in 2026, the second-year outfielder is close to a 20-home-run campaign for the Nationals.

Tristan Peters went on quite the streak(s) this past week. Peters had three hits in two consecutive games, and a home run in five straight. Not too shabby for the 2026 AL All-Star.

And finally, Cal Raleigh got on the board in a big way this past five. Five home runs, three of which came in one game versus the Phillies.

As for the pitchers, Blake Snell and Cade Cavalli were the top strikeout pitchers over the past week. Snell, despite six walks, struck out a league-high 16 over 11 innings and posted a .82 ERA in that span. At this point, if you don’t know the deal with Snell, you probably should. He’ll walk batters but he generally limits the contact.

Fallers

• SP Andrew Abbott (Reds)
• SS CJ Abrams (Nationals)
• INF Ernie Clement (Blue Jays)
• 3B Max Muncy (Dodgers)
• SS Trea Turner (Phillies)
• SP Zack Wheeler (Phillies)

A 1-for-18 week for Muncy, a 2-for-24 stretch for Abrams, a 2-for-23 run for Clement, and a 2-for-22 week for Turner. Over the course of a six-month season, these weeks will happen for most players. You just don’t want to see it at this time of the year,

Normally, the type of player who always seems to get a hit a game (he doesn’t), Clement went hitless in eight games between August 10 and the 29th. And after blimps of power during the first half, Clement has just one home run since the break.

Trea Turner, meanwhile, continued a weird 2026 with another off week at the dish.

Zack Wheeler also had a tough week, as he was burned by the Mariners in Seattle.
