Managers of the Year
Stephen Vogt (AL) and Pat Murphy (NL) won the Manager of the Year Award for their respective league.
Both Vogt and Murphy led their teams to a division title as first-year managers.

Comeback Players of the Year
White Sox pitcher Garrett Crochet (AL) and Braves pitcher Chris Sale (NL) won the Comeback Player of the Year Award in their respective league.
Crochet missed all of 2022 thanks to Tommy John surgery recovery and returned late in the 2023 season. The Sox moved him to the rotation, where he thrived as a college pitcher at Tennessee, a move that worked out quite well for both parties. Crochet struck out 209 over 146 innings and was a 2023 AL All-Star.
Sale has dealt with his own injury woes. The lefty missed all of 2020 thanks to Tommy John surgery and made 11 regular-season starts between 2021-22. He had more injury problems in 2023, his last year with the Red Sox. Boston traded Sale last winter to the Braves.
Sale excelled with the Braves. The lefty led the NL in wins (18), ERA (2.38), and strikeouts (225).
