Hitting isn’t the only thing that MLB The Show players need to worry about. Pitching is just as important, especially in tight games where one pitch could make all the difference. With that said, here’s a look at our picks for the best pitching settings in MLB The Show 24, including interface and camera views.
Which pitching interface should you use?
Ideally, the best pitching interface to use in MLB The Show 24 is Pinpoint.
Several different pitching interfaces can be used, including Meter, Pulse, Analog, and Pinpoint. Pinpoint offers the highest accuracy rate, provided that Perfect accuracy is hit.
Now, we should note that Pinpoint has been changed for MLB The Show. Several new motions were added, including to sinkers, pitches that have been a meta pitch thanks to its arm-side run and sink. Now, players must move the stick either left or right, depending on whether the pitcher’s a lefty or righty, and then needs to be rotated down, up, and then pulled down.

Additionally, pitching motions for many other pitches, like curveballs and sliders, were flipped for left-handers.
Best settings for pitching
Here’s a look at our best pitching settings for everything else in MLB The Show 24:
- Pitching view (Can be changed in Camera settings): Strike Zone or Pitcher Center
There aren’t many pitching settings that need to be fiddled with, aside from the aforementioned pitching interface and the camera view.
Traditionally, many top-tier players like to use the Strike Zone camera setting. Not only does it keep the eyes in the same place as hitting, but it also can give some a better view of the strike zone and how hitters react to certain pitches.
However, the Pitcher Center view is one we do like, mainly because it A) mimics a real-life broadcast and B) is consistent. Broadcast pitching view, for example, can vary by stadium.
