The Brewers announced which players from their organization will join the big club in Arizona as non-roster invites on January 27. The list is a loaded one from a prospect perspective. Jesús Made, who ripped through High-A last season, is the headliner among the group that also includes newcomer Jett Williams, Brock Wilken, & Luke Adams.

The prospects

Milwaukee is flush with middle-infield depth, and that will be on full display this coming spring. Shortstops Jesús Made, Cooper Pratt, and Jett Williams, three of the Brewers’ best overall prospects, will be among the non-roster invitees.

Made is the standout among the three. An 18-year-old who slashed .285/.379/.413 and will not turn 19 until May, the young infielder made a massive impression last season. He started 2025 in Low-A, finished it in Double-A, and performed well at every level in between. He posted a .761 OPS in Low-A before he stormed through Wisconsin, thanks to a slash line of .343/.415/.500.

Even though there wasn’t a ton of home run power from Made — normal for teenagers still adding muscle to their bodies — the positives were many. He made consistent contact, picked up plenty of extra-base hits and hard contact in the Minors, not to mention control of the strike zone. His 56.1% take rate in the Midwest League was among the league’s best, with almost 70% of those takes resulting in balls.

Pratt, a sixth-round pick from 2023, slashed .238/.343/.348 with 31 extra-base hits, eight of which were home runs, and tallied 31 stolen baes across 120 games with Double-A Biloxi.

The 21-year-old isn’t a big power hitter by any means. However, like Made, he makes consistent contact. Pratt had one of the 20 lowest Whiff% (22.2%) in the Southern League last season, just behind teammates Luis Lara (17.2%) and Matthew Wood (17.3%). Both Lara and Wood will also be in camp.

Pratt will also regularly work counts. High take rate (55.7%), as he walked 67 times over 120 contests.

Jett Williams was one of two marquee prospects that the Brewers acquired in January for Freddy Peralta. Between Double-A and Triple-A, Williams slashed .261/.363/.465 with 17 home runs and 58 extra-base hits over 130 games.

Williams has, arguably, a higher ceiling than Pratt. The 22-year-old Williams can hit for power, play multiple positions defensively, and possesses a plus eye. It’s the type of skillset that fits the Brewers’ traditional, analytical approach.

Corner infielder Luke Adams, a 12th-round pick from 2022, will look to make a strong impression after a strong 2025. Adams posted a .859 OPS thanks to 24 extra-base hits (11 HR) and 43 walks over 64 games with Double-A Biloxi. He missed time on the IL this season but made up for it in the AFL, as he slashed .333/.471/.569 over 16 games.

Adams posted the second-highest take rate (64.8%) in the Southern League, behind only Brock Wilken. That approach led to a lot of called strikes (38.3%) on him. Adams struck out 60 times over those 64 games but didn’t have much swing-and-miss.

Former Wake Forest slugger Brock Wilken had a much better repeat campaign in Double-A last season. Wilken slashed .226/.387/.489 with 18 home runs and 35 extra-base hits over 79 games. Swing-and-miss wasn’t egregious (28.7%), and like Adams, he’ll take a lot of called strikes.

Left-hander Tate Kuehner was a seventh-round pick out of Louisville in 2023. Kuehner struck out 112 over 100.2 IP with Biloxi, along with one of the 20 highest Whiff% (32%) in the circuit. Low-to-mid-90s fastball that capped out at 97 MPH with Nashville, along with a sinker, changeup, curveball, and cut/slider.

Catcher Ramon Rodriguez is also among the group.

Other notables

The Brewers previously announced that pitchers Gerson Garabito and Drew Rom, catcher Darrien Miller, infielder Eddys Leonard, and outfielders Eduardo Garcia and Greg Jones will be in Arizona with the big club.

The 30-year-old Garabito pitched in parts of two MLB seasons with the Rangers in 2024 and 2025. Eclectic pitch arsenal for Garabito, who possesses a low-90s four-seamer and sinker, coupled with a changeup, slider, and a curveball.

Jones is a former first-round pick and speedster who has eight Major League plate appearances to his name. Two of those came last season with the White Sox.
