To celebrate Rodriguez’s hot stretch to end 2024, a 99 OVR Season Awards Lightning Julio Rodriguez is now available in MLB The Show 24. Here’s how to unlock it.
How to unlock Season Awards Julio Rodriguez
To unlock 99 OVR Season Awards Julio Rodriguez in MLB The Show 24, Diamond Dynasty players will need six specific Season Awards cards:
- 95 OVR Season Awards Yainer Diaz
- 96 OVR Season Awards Willy Adames
- 98 OVR Season Awards Kyle Schwarber
- 99 OVR Season Awards Michael Busch
- 99 OVR Season Awards Luke Weaver
- 99 OVR Season Awards Nick Martinez
All the cards can be unlocked by obtaining 50 Star Points in the Season 3 Awards Drop 1-6 Programs. The program can be completed through specific Moments, accumulating stats with players from specific teams and/or specific positions, and PXP with Topps Now and Season Awards cards.
A 99 OVR Yu Darvish can be unlocked along the way, by getting five of the six cards mentioned above.
Once those six cards are unlocked, go to ‘Collections’ in the ‘Collect’ menu. Then, select ‘Special Collections.’ Find the ‘Season 3 Awards’ box and manually or auto-select the six cards. Lock all six in with the ‘Advance’ button.
We should note this will be the final Lightning card of MLB The Show 24 Diamond Dynasty, now that the regular season has concluded. “J-Rod” is one of two Lightning cards from Season 3, along with Corbin Carroll. Carroll is unlocked with three of the cards mentioned above.
