In early November 2025, Sony released its goal map for MLB The Show 26. Among the new details were the return of Now & Later rewards, which will allow MLB The Show 25 Diamond Dynasty players to get rewards for the old & new game at the same time.

Scouting Report

Sony stated that players who are signed up for the Scouting Report will receive five Now & Later Packs for MLB The Show 25. However, to get these packs, Diamond Dynasty players must be registered by November 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET.

For those unfamiliar with how Now & Later Packs work, this was a new type of pack originally seen in MLB The Show 24. Each pack was a traditional The Show pack but with one minor twist. It came with a voucher that could be redeemed for a The Show pack in the following game.

It should be noted that those who take advantage of the Scouting Report should know a few things. One, signing up will grant additional rewards, as Sony does different drops via the Scouting Report every month. Two, make sure to sign up using the correct account(s) information.

In-game The Show 25 content

Sony stated that more Now & Later Packs will be made available from November 21, 2025, and onward.

Now & Later Packs will be included in the 11th Inning XP Path, which will go live on the 21st. Additionally, Sony will bring back the Now & Later Program. Last year, individuals who completed it received 11 Now & Later Packs for MLB The Show 24. All Diamond Dynasty players had to do was complete 10 Moments to get everything.

That program also featured a 99 OVR Retro Finest Willie Mays. When unlocked, it also ensured that players would eventually receive an 85 OVR All-Star Willie Mays for 25.

The ’25 version of the Now & Later Program will be released in early 2026, per Sony.
