MLB The Show 25: How to unlock rewards for game in MLB The Show 24

The countdown to MLB The Show 25 is one — well, sort of. MLB The Show developer Sony San Diego is giving The Show 24 players to unlock early rewards for 25, just by playing the game through its endgame cycle. That’s because there are special packs across Diamond Dynasty that include redeemable vouchers for next year’s title.

How Now & Later Packs Work

Sony San Diego made significant changes to how regular MLB The Show 24 packs work during the endgame portion. Not only did Diamond pull rates go from 1:50 to 1:8 packs, the developers also added Now & Later Packs in MLB The Show 24.

These packs are just like regular MLB The Show 24 packs. These have the same pull rates but include a special ‘Now & Later’ voucher, along with four player items.

The voucher wil transfer over to MLB The Show 25’s Diamond Dynasty. Per the developer, the voucher will become redeemable once 25 is released and can be used for a free MLB The Show pack.

Of course, there are requirements that must be met, aside from unlocking the packs and opening them to get the vouchers. One, get a copy of MLB The Show 25 when it’s released. Two, ensure to play on the same account used to unlock the packs.

By account, we mean The Show account, or at least make sure to use the same Xbox/PlayStation/Nintendo account for 25 as 24. We should note, though, that MLB The Show is cross-platform. Meaning, linking one of these three to a The Show account will allow players to transfer over Diamond Dynasty progress from one console to another.

Where to find all Now & Later Packs in MLB The Show 24

Now and Later XP Path — Now & Later Packs are denoted with the logo next to the pack.

As of February 2025, 25 Now & Later packs were released in MLB The Show 24. SDS stated that more would be added.

Ten of the 25 could be found in the Season 4 XP Path. A grand total of 320,000 XP will unlock all 10, plus other rewards.

Two more were added in the Ranked Seasons 10 Program, which ended on January 10, 2025. To unlock those, Diamond Dynasty players will need to unlock Star Points in that program. Get to 15 Points, and the remaining two will be unlocked.

An additional two packs were added in the Forever Ranked Seasons program.

So, how does one get Star Points in the Ranked Program? Get hits, strikeouts, home runs, total bases, and runs scored in 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 Ranked play.

The last 11 were added on February 4, 2025, with the Now & Later Program. MLB The Show 24 players could complete program-specific Moments to get those last 11 vouchers,
