It’s a hefty list of superstars from across the college baseball landscape, headlined by some big boppers from the 2026 season.
Landon Hairston, one of the finalists for the 2026 Golden Spikes, was named to the roster after a standout season with Arizona State. He’ll be joined by 2026 D1 home run leader Tague Davis, as well as Auburn catcher Chase Fralick. Fralick, a rising junior for the Tigers, hit a team-high 20 home runs this season for Auburn.
Kolby Branch, part of the Georgia Bulldogs, hit 20 home runs in his senior year.
And then there’s Gavin Kelly, the star of the WVU Mountaineers and a key piece of the team that finished in the final four in Omaha.
Two star freshmen for the 2026 season, outfielders Rett Johnson and Anthony Pack Jr., are with the USA collegiate team. Johnson hit .381 for the NC State Wolfpack this season, while Pack Jr. led the Longhorns with a .355 batting average. He also had 12 home runs and 21 steals.
JD Stein, who was an everyday player in Wake Forest last year and is now with the South Carolina Gamecocks, hit .266 (.384 OBP) with the Demon Deacons in 2026.
As for the pitching staff, the Florida Gators are sending three pitchers. Jackson Barberi and Joshua Whritenour, two of the best strikeout relievers in college baseball last season, will be joined by likely 2027 ace Aidan King.
MSU will send Tomas Valincius and Ryan McPherson, the two pitchers who were backbone pieces of the 2026 team. However, the Bulldogs missed McPherson for two months before he returned down the stretch.
