Instead of Monthly Awards Programs, the MLB The Show 24 team has released special Season Awards cards in Diamond Dynasty throughout the year. Now, it’s time to unlock the first Lightning card of the year. On April 19, a 95 OVR Bobby Witt Jr. was released into MLB The Show 24. Here’s what Diamond Dynasty players need to do to unlock Witt Jr.
How to complete Bobby Witt Jr. Collection
To unlock the 95 OVR Bobby Witt Jr. in MLB The Show 24, one will need four Season Awards players. As of April 19, here are the four players needed:
- 91 OVR Garrett Crochet – Season Awards Drop 1
- 91 OVR Michael Conforto – Season Awards Drop 2
- 93 OVR Ronel Blanco – Season Awards Drop 3
- 93 OVR Spencer Steer – Season Awards Drop 4
However, keep in mind that other Season Awards cards obtainable from subsequent Season 1 Drop Programs will work, as well.
Each of the four cards can be obtained by completing the Season Awards Drop 1-4 Programs in Diamond Dynasty. Note that none of the four Programs require any cards from packs, so simply grind through the Moments and Missions for each of the four.
From there, go to Collections in the ‘Collect’ section. Find the ‘Special Collections’ and then select ‘Season 1 Awards.’ Lock in the four Season Awards cards with A/X to unlock 95 OVR Witt Jr.
Keep in mind that there will be a second Season 1 Lightning player added to MLB The Show 24 later on in the year.
