On April 5, Sony San Diego released the MLB The Show 24 Season Awards Drop 2 Program. This marks the second Season Awards program, which comes with several Diamonds, as well as a 91 OVR Michael Conforto that’s required for the upcoming Lightning award. Here’s a look at what’s in this program.

To make progress in the MLB The Show 24 Season Awards Drop 2 Program, players must complete a collection of Moments, general, and PXP Missions with Season Awards and Topps Now cards.
Here’s a look at the list of tasks:
- Complete five Moments (15 pts. – 3 pts. each)
- Topps Now and Season Awards Missions:
- Tally 500 PXP with Season Awards cards in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
- Tally 300 PXP with Season Awards Garrett Crochet in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
- Tally 500 PXP with Topps Now cards in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
- Tally six strikeouts with Topps Now cards in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
- Tally 10 extra-base hits with Topps Now cards in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (5 pts.)
- General Missions:
- Tally three stolen bases with Center Fielders (i.e. players with CF Primary) in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (4 pts.)
- Tally 10 hits with Left Fielders (i.e. players with LF Primary) in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (4 pts.)
- Tally three home runs with Third Basemen (i.e. players with 3B Primary) in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (4 pts.)
- Tally 25 total bases with Right Fidlders (i.e. players with RF Primary) in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (4 pts.)
- Tally 250 PXP with Giants in 1v1 Ranked, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, and Conquest (4 pts.)
- OPTIONAL: Collect Season Awards and Topps Now cards:
- Season Awards Oswaldo Cabrera (16 pts.)

The Season Awards Garrett Crochet, along with other Topps Now cards, can be obtained from Season Awards Drop 1.

Keep in mind that none of the cards for the Optional collection can be obtained in the program. These cards are in Season Awards Drop 2 packs, which cost 30,000 Stubs at the shop.
What is Season Awards?
This program takes the place of Monthly Awards/Topps Now Programs from past MLB The Show games. Traditionally, those awarded cards one time after the conclusion of the previous month.
Now, individuals need to complete Season Awards Drop Programs to get cards that can be inserted into the Lightning Collection.
However, none of the cards from the Season Awards packs will be needed for the Lightning Collections.
