Much like with the 1st and 2nd Inning Programs, a wheel of rewards unlocks after every 30,000 XP earned after the end of the path.
Two of the three Bosses can be earned through the program. However, it’s worth noting the two boss packs have been pushed up in the program. Now, the Boss packs appear at 245,000 and 400,000 XP, respectively, compared to 320,000 and 500,000 in the 2nd Inning.
How to make progress
MLB The Show 25 players can make progress by simply playing Diamond Dynasty, as well as other modes like Road to the Show, Franchise Mode, March to October, etc.
However, it’s more beneficial to focus on programs with XP bonuses, as those help move the path along quicker. Those will be released throughout the 3rd Inning.
Additionally, those who obtained all three 2nd Inning Bosses can complete a collection to get 30,000 XP towards the 3rd Inning. Go to ‘Collections’ to lock in the three bosses.

Additionally, there are three Cornerstone Evolution starters in the 3rd Inning Program: 80 OVR cards for Jim Palmer, Justin Turner, and Ralph Kiner. Those are needed for their corresponding player Programs.
Each pack also comes with a rewind round, giving players the ability to unlock three of the past keys needed for the 1st and 2nd Inning Cornerstone Programs.
When does it expire?
The 2nd Inning Program expires on June 7, 2025.
