On September 10, Sony San Diego will launch update 1.25 for MLB The Show 25 across all three platforms. However, this update isn’t a major one, to say the least. This update focuses primarily on maintenance, with less significant changes including several new equipment additions, as well as two new player models. Here’s a look at the September 10 update for The Show 25.
MLB The Show 25 patch 1.25 notes
Here are the patch notes for the September 10 update for MLB The Show 25:
Equipment additions
- Adidas Cleats – Adizero Impact 2.0
- Franklin Batting Gloves: Coral Reef CFX Pro
- Franklin Batting Gloves: Watermelon CFX Pro
Updated player models
- Tony Gonsolin
- Jacob Misiorowski
The development team added a note that this update is mainly for general maintenance, as opposed to a traditional one with much more substantial changes. However, there are some notes of interest.
New Adidas cleats, as well as two Franklin batting glove models, are in this update. Additionally, Brewers rookie Jacob Misiorowski and Dodgers pitcher Tony Gonsolin will get new player models, continuing a trend of adding these in-season. Past title updates have seen more additions than this, just to note.
However, this title update looks a lot like ones that have gone live previously in September during past games’ lifecycles. Remember, it’s September; the end of the 2025 MLB season and the end of MLB The Show 25’s lifecycle is inching closer and closer.
The most recent title update, before this one, came on August 28.
Update 1.25 will go live for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch platforms at 7 AM ET on September 10.
