Just before Easter, Sony released the MLB The Show 26 Egg Hunt Program on April 3. It includes one 90 OVR, several interesting meta options, plus a lot of mystery missions and Eggs to get.

How to make progress
Here are the tasks for this one:
- Complete four Moments (10 pts. – 3 pts. for two, 2 pts. for two)
- Complete 10 Mystery Missions (50 pts. – 5 pts. each)
- Complete five Egg (Purple, Pink, Blue, Yellow, Orange) collections (50 pts. – 10 pts. each)
- BONUS: Complete Red & Green Egg collections (20 pts. – 10 pts. each)
You won’t need to do everything here. However, most will need to be completed, since there is some overlap with regards to the Egg requirements & Moments (more on that in a minute).
As has become precedent, the bulk of the points are obtained through completing mystery missions and unlocking eggs.
Unlike ’25, there is no “big” collection per se. The only collecting that has to be done is the Eggs.
Mystery Missions
Here are the mystery missions:
- Wait a Third – Win a game with Gold Clay Holmes (in Yankees TA)
- Customizable Mini Seasons Length – 500 PXP with players who wear #7 or #28 in Mini Seasons
- Conq Mysterymaxxing – Get an extra-base hit with Troy Tulowitzki (Starter Program)
- I’m Blue – Win a game with Kerry Wood
- Whoops, he’s not supposed to be there – Pitch an inning with A.J. Puk
- KYLE TEST – Hit a home run with Kyle Schwarber or Kyle Stowers in Diamond Quest*
- Back – Extra-base hit with Nolan Arenado (D-Backs)
- Back-to-Back – Extra-base hit with Nolan Gorman (Cardinals)
- Back-to-Back-to-Back – Extra-base with Juan Yepez (Free Agents)
- Back-to-Back-to-Back-to-Back – Extra-base hit with Dylan Carlson (Cubs)
Some of these are telegraphed within the descriptions. For example, the highlighted blue text in the Moments descriptions indicates that Kerry Wood must be used to get the ‘I’m Blue’ one complete.
As for the KYLE TEST mission, you have to complete it in a Stadium Challenge. Those are indicated by the Stadium icon.
Nolan Arenado, Joe Mauer, Corey Kluber, Blake Snell, Curtis Granderson, Matt Olson, Austin Wells, and Trayce Thompson are among the players who work for the #7/#28 Mission.
How to find Easter Eggs
- Pink: Diamond Quest
- Purple: Diamond Quest
- Yellow: Conquest (Egg Map)
- Blue: Conquest (Egg Map)
- Orange: Complete all four Moments for Egg Hunt Program
- Red: three stolen bases in multiplayer game modes
- Green: 10 doubles in multiplayer game modes
*In our testing, we hit a home run with both Kyle Schwarber & Kyle Stowers in a Diamond Quest, which completed the Mission. Use both.
