For the third straight year, Sony San Diego released an Easter-themed program for MLB The Show. The MLB The Show 25 Egg Hunt Program tasks players to go on a hunt for Eggs strewn throughout Diamond Dynasty for rewards, including an 89 OVR Jazz Chisholm Jr.

Here’s a look at reward path for the MLB The Show 25 Egg Hunt Program:
- 10 Points: 86 OVR Joe Boyle
- 20 Points: 10,000 XP
- 30 Points: 87 OVR Logan O’Hoppe
- 40 Points: MLB The Show 25 pack (x3)
- 50 Points: 88 OVR Riley Greene
- 60 Points: MLB The Show 25 pack (x5)
- 70 Points: 10,000 XP
- 80 Points: Golden Egg Icon
- 90 Points: Deluxe Egg Hunt pack
- 100 Points: 89 OVR Jazz Chisholm Jr. and 15,000 XP

How to make progress
Much like other Assorted Programs, this one requires the completion of Moments, Missions, and other miscellaneous Tasks. However, this one does differ thanks to the presence of the Eggs.
Here’s a look at the tasks:
- Complete nine Moments (10 pts. – 1 pt. each for nine, 2 pts. for one other)
- Complete Mystery Missions (40 pts. – 5 pts. each)
- Complete Egg Collection (50 pts.)
Mystery Missions
- Big Conquest Mystery: Get a save with a left-handed pitcher in Conquest
- Trivia Night: Last switch-hitter to win AL MVP was Vida Blue – Get one quality start with Blue in any nine-inning game mode (6+ IP, three or less ER)
- Wait a Second: Get a win with Randy Johnson in any game mode (hint: use the 79 OVR Randy Johnson from Team Affinity for those who don’t have the 91 OVR)
- Woah There, Slow Down: Get a double with a slow player in Play vs. CPU (aside: I used 86 OVR New Threads Gary Sanchez, which has 14 Speed)
- Swordfish: Strike out with Mike Trout in any Diamond Dynasty game mode (hint: use the 79 OVR Trout from Team Affinity for those who don’t have the Live Series version)
- Tax Season: Get two holds in Mini Seasons
- Let’s Roll: Get six hits in a Diamond Quest game (Showdown, games, etc.)
- Small Ball: A sacrifice bunt in Mini Seasons
Where to find Eggs
Much like in 23 and 24, there is an Egg Hunt to be done across Diamond Dynasty.
There are seven different Eggs that can be found across Diamond Dynasty. Five are needed for the Egg Mission.
Here’s a look at where to find the seven Eggs:
- Blue: Diamond Quest Board (Rare Reward)
- Green: Diamond Quest Board (Rare Reward)
- Orange: Get on base 25 times in Multiplayer game modes (Battle Royale, Events, Ranked)
- Pink: 25 strikeouts in Multiplayer game modes (Battle Royale, Events, Ranked)
- Purple: Complete the nine Egg Hunt Moments
- Red: Bunny Ears Conquest Map (Take Royals & Rockies Strongholds)
- Yellow: Bunny Ears Conquest Map (Take Marlins & Rays Strongholds)
The Blue & Green Eggs can be found in the Egg Hunt-specific Diamond Quest board as Rare rewards. The board includes 89 OVR Lucas Erceg and Rickey Henderson as Epic rewards.
This program will not expire.
Egg Hunt Collection
Lastly, there’s a Collection for Egg Hunt Series cards.
Diamond Dynasty players can acquire an 89 OVR Pete Crow-Armstrong (seven Egg Series cards), an 89 OVR Ryan McMahon (18), and a 90 OVR Jacob deGrom (28).

Four Egg Hunt Series cards are in the program. Additionally, one can be acquired via the pack at 90 Star Points.
An 87 OVR Anthony Volpe can be obtained through completing the Bunny Ears Conquest map. The 89 OVRs for Rickey Henderson and Lucas Erceg can either be bought off the market or acquired via Diamond Quest.
Aside from those cards, the rest — not including the 89 OVR Crow-Armstrong and McMahon, which count towards deGrom — must be either bought off the market or acquired through the Egg Hunt pack.
