For the second straight year, Pete Alonso received a 99 OVR Milestone in MLB The Show. This one, for MLB The Show 26, is for his 300th career home run, which he hit on September 15 in New York. Alonso became yet another player to receive a Milestone in MLB The Show 26 for 300 home runs, joining George Springer & Mookie Betts.
Alonso Program reward path
Here’s a look at the reward path for the MLB The Show 26 Pete Alonso Milestone Program:
- 50 Points: 2,500 XP
- 100 Points: MLB The Show 26 pack
- 150 Points: 2,500 XP
- 200 Points: Ballin’ is a Habit pack
- 250 Points: 2,500 XP
- 300 Points: 99 OVR Milestone Pete Alonso
This program follows the same type of path as the Mookie Betts Program, released in June for the Dodgers shortstop’s 300th career home run. Back to Alonso, here’s a look at the 99 OVR Milestone:

How to make progress
- Complete five Moments (50 pts. – 10 pts. each)
- Missions:
- Tally 53 extra-base hits with any players (100 pts.)
- Tally 170 total bases with any players (100 pts.)
- Tally 2,000 PXP with Mets and/or Orioles players (50 pts.)
- Tally two wins in any game mode (25 pts.)
- Tally 750 PXP with any Pete Alonso player item (25 pts.)
Unlike the aforementioned Betts Program, you won’t be able to collect a My Legacy Icon to make progress towards Alonso. But aside from that, the format is more or less the same.
As for the Alonso-specific player mission, there are three different Alonso cards to use. One is his Live Series. The second is a 90 OVR New Threads Pete Alonso that was released in a program back in March. The third is a 95 OVR Spotlight card that can be purchased on the marketplace.
