For MLB The Show 26, Sony will be released content for not just 2026 MLB Postseason content but also retro content, too. The first batch, part of the Retro Wild Card Program, went live on September 29. It included four The Show Classics cards, all of which were Postseason cards released in previous MLB The Show games. Headlining the program is a 99 OVR Giancarlo Stanton from ’21.

- 20 Points: 99 OVR Postseason Royce Lewis & 1,000 XP

- 40 Points: Deluxe pack & 1,000 XP
- 50 Points: 99 OVR Postseason Giancarlo Stanton & 1,000 XP

- Retro Wild Card Missions:
- Tally 1,997 PXP with Marlins players (5 pts.)
- Tallly 2,023 PXP with Rangers players (5 pts.)
- 2026 Wild Card Team Missions:
- Tally 2,026 PXP with players from AL Wild Card teams (5 pts.)
- Tally 2,026 PXP with players from NL Wild Card teams (5 pts.)
You won’t be able to skip anything here, so get ready to do some Moments. Two of the Moments, the Arrieta and Bummer ones, are three-point Moments. Everything else is worth four points.
For those who need a reminder, the AL Wild Card teams are the White Sox, Astros, Red Sox, and Yankees. The NL Wild Card teams are the Phillies, Braves, Cubs, and Padres.
