On May 29, Sony released the MLB The Show 26 Vintage Series in Diamond Dynasty. This one was released as a play on the Topps Heritage stock, highlighting players who performed well with one specific team. And, like other series, it came with a program and a collection. A 96 OVR Ketel Marte is the featured collection reward.

Vision Program

First, let’s start with the Vintage Program in MLB The Show 26:

  • Tally 47 total bases with any players (10 pts.)
  • Score 17 runs with any players (10 pts.)
  • Tally 18 strikeouts with any pitchers (10 pts.)
  • Tally six home runs with any players (15 pts.)
  • Win five games in any game mode (15 pts.)
• PXP Missions:
  • Tally 2,000 PXP with Vintage Series players (10 pts.)
  • Tally 4,000 PXP with Vintage Series players (10 pts.)
  • Tally 6,000 PXP with any players (10 pts.)
• BONUS Missions:
  • Win one game in Conquest (10 pts.)
  • Win one game in Battle Royale (10 pts.)
  • Tally 500 PXP with any Carlos Beltran card (10 pts.)
  • Tally 1,000 PXP with players who were Immortals from MLB 18 (15 pts.)
  • Tally 1,500 PXP with any Jolt Series cards (15 pts.)

Aside from no Moments, this setup is more or less the same as past Programs.

For those who didn’t play MLB The Show 18, players who had Immortals that were Vladimir Guerrero, Clayton Kershaw, Dennis Eckersley, Ryne Sandberg, Mike Trout, Ted Williams, George Brett, Babe Ruth, Albert Pujols, Billy Wagner, Goose Gossage, Jackie Robinson, Mike Piazza, Bob Gibson, Cal Ripken Jr., Ken Griffey Jr., Stan Musial, Chipper Jones, and Nolan Ryan.

You’ll need 12 cards for the 94 OVR Joc Pederson, 20 for the 95 OVR Ubaldo Jimenez, and 27 for Ketel Marte.

Now, where can you find Vintage card? Well, this followed the same set-up used by Sony for past Collections. So, the usual:

• Chase: 1 (Jeter)
• Collection: 2 (Pederson, Ubaldo)
• Conquest: 1 (Arenado)
• Diamond Quest: 2 (McGriff, L. Castillo)
• Events: 1 (G. Torres)
• Mini Seasons: 4 (Strahm, Ibanez, McMahon, Garver)
• Pack: 15
• Program: 5 (Arraez, Carpenter, Ray, Gehrig, Conforto)

To get the 92 OVR Strahm, you’ll need 10 strikeouts with RP or CP in the Vintage Mini Seasons. Then, tally two saves in said Mini Seasons to get the Ibanez. The Ryan McMahon can be earned by getting on base six times with 92 OVR Ibanez. And, lastly, 22,000 PXP with any players is needed to get 93 OVR Garver.
