It’s been a while but Sony will release a new MLB The Show 26 title update on August 3. This one comes with a slew of quality-of-life changes, both for Diamond Dynasty and outside it. Plus, over 40 new face scans.

Here is what’s in the August 3 update for MLB The Show 26:
General
- Fixed a bug where incorrect team decals and logos could display on sleeves and helmets.
- Fixed a bug that could cause bullpen players to wear the incorrect team uniform on the All-Star roster.
- Fixed a bug where the incorrect pitcher could be credited with a loss if a game goes to extra innings.
- Fixed the pitching animation release point for Adrian Houser.
Diamond Dynasty
- Fixed a bug where all silver rewards could show during an XP wheel spin.
- Fixed a bug where users were unable to assign Captains within Diamond Quest.
- Fixed a bug where previous post-game summaries could show multiple times after completing different moments.
- Fixed an issue that would cause incorrect values for batting average and home runs within Mini Seasons.
- Fixed a bug where a blank reward could show at the beginning of a Showdown.
Nintendo Switch version
- Fixed a bug where incorrect All-Star uniforms are displayed when selected.
Miscellaneous
- Various adjustments to menus.
- Fixed a bug where multiple “view program” buttons would show when looking at a card through Collections.
- Fixed a bug that could break various menu elements after backing out of a Co-Op game.

It’s the first MLB The Show title update in nearly a month, as the last one came on July 9.
This update will go live for all platforms on August 3 at 7 AM ET.
