Major League Baseball finalized much of the first-half national TV schedule for 2025 in March. MLB fans will need to keep track of not only when their favorite team plays but what channel and/or streaming service the game will be on. During the 2025 MLB season, exclusive nationally televised games will air on Apple TV+, ESPN, FOX, Roku, and TBS. Here’s a list that tracks all of these games.

From 2022-24, Apple TV+ received exclusive broadcast rights to two games a week, every Friday as part of their “Friday Night Baseball” coverage. That holds true for 2025.

There was a late scheduling change made in September. Due to the Blue Jays potentially clinching a playoff spot, Sportsnet (CA) will simulcast the Apple TV+ broadcast of the September 19 game against the Blue Jays.

Additionally, the Rays/Blue Jays game on September 26 is now an Apple TV+ game.

The other game on the 26th will be the Tigers and Red Sox from Fenway Park.

Do you need a subscription to Apple TV+ to watch MLB games?

Yes, an active Apple TV+ subscription — whether it be a free trial or paid monthly subscription — is needed to watch MLB games.

This is the third year of this requirement, as games aired free on the app in 2022.

A monthly subscription costs $12.99. Apple raised the price from $9.99 USD to its current price in August 2025.

Saturday MLB games on FOX have been a tradition for over 20 years. It continues in 2025, as part of the network’s “Baseball Night in America” coverage.

FOX will generally show two games on national TV a week, aside from the Bristol Motor Speedway telecast on August 2. In late August and early September, some of those dates include three games.

One will be carried on a local FOX affiliate. The game that airs on FOX will depend on the region. For example, baseball fans in the southeast will likely receive the Braves should Atlanta be featured.

Games carried by FOX but not shown in one’s local market can be viewed through MLB.TV/MLB Extra Innings.

These games traditionally start at 7:15 PM. However, those that don’t are noted as such in the above table.

Be mindful, however, that FOX will shift their weekly block to select Thursdays in August & September to accommodate college football.

These games are available for free on The Roku Channel app. Additionally, the contests will also be aired on MLB.TV and MLB Extra Innings.

Note that unlike Apple TV+, which retains TV rights outside the United States, Roku games are only exclusive to the United States. Any Blue Jays games will air on Sportsnet.

However, these games will be blacked out in-market. For example, those in the New York area will have to watch Mets & Yankees TBS games on their local regional network.

Make sure to check out our streaming guide for the 2025 MLB season.

Note: This list only does not include non-exclusive games on FS1 or MLB Network games. MLB Network games will air based on regional location. All times are EDT.
