The Orioles officially fleshed out their list of non-roster invites for 2026 Spring Training on February 4. That list includes a former first-round pick, Enrique Bradfield Jr., as well as two of the Orioles’ best pitching prospects in the system.

The prospects

Perhaps the most notable name is Enrique Bradfield Jr., the Orioles’ first-round pick from the 2023 MLB Draft.

Bradfield Jr. made waves at Vanderbilt thanks to plus-plus speed, which is his biggest on the field, both on the basepaths and in center field. The 24-year-old stole 72 bases over 108 games during the 2024 campaign.

Last season, Bradfield slashed .242/.348/.348 over 76 contests, a season that saw him swipe 36 total bases. However, he posted a .512 OPS in limited time with Triple-A Norfolk.

Aside from Bradfield Jr., the Orioles are bringing three of their better hitting prospects: Ethan Anderson, Aron Estrada, and Creed Willems.

Anderson was a second-round pick by the Orioles in July 2024. Very consistent contact hitter (20.7% Whiff% in High-A), albeit a bit aggressive when it came to chasing out of the zone. A switch-hitter, Anderson is a sizeable player but isn’t much of a home run or power hitter.

Estrada, a 20-year-old infielder, shot up the organization last season after he slashed .288/.356/.447 with 10 home runs and 34 extra-base hits, as well as 34 stolen bases across two levels (High-A and Double-A).

Like Anderson, a consistent contact hitter (23.2% Whiff% in High-A). However, he’s also more aggressive, as he took roughly 46% of the time in the South Atlantic League.

Willems, an eighth-round pick from 2021, has slowly yet steadily developed. The 22-year-old hit 16 home runs and 38 extra-base hits with the Baysox last season.

Other hitters going to camp are Payton Eeles, Willy Vazquez, Jud Fabian, and Silas Ardoin.

As for the pitchers, Luis De Leon and Trey Gibson will headline the pitchers going to Florida with the big club.

De Leon was a behemoth in High-A and the Arizona Fall League. The left-hander struck out 107 over 87 combined innings between Low-A, High-A, and Double-A this past season. High groundball pitcher (56.7% GB%) and a 36% Whiff% with the Ironbirds this season. Very good slider.

Gibson, meanwhile, moved all the way to Triple-A this season and was a swing-and-miss machine. The undrafted free agent from Liberty University struck out 166 over 120.1 IP this past season across three levels (A+, AA, & AAA). He was hit hard in Triple-A but has a diverse arsenal, including mid-90s velocity and a good sweeper.

Andrew Magno, Jean Henriquez, Richard Guasch, Jeisson Cabrera, Nestor German, Levi Wells, Cameron Weston, Eric Torres, and Keagan Gillies will also be among the pitchers going to big-league camp.

Other notables

Some familiar names will be among the notable ex-MLB pitchers in Orioles camp. Ex-Angel Hans Crouse will be joined by Enoli Paredes, Josh Walker, and Albert Suarez.

Moving to the position players, Sam Huff, Maverick Handley, Jose Barrero, Luis Vazquez, and Ryan Noda are among the catchers and infielders.

As for the outfielders, Will Robertson and former Guardian Jhonkensy Noel will be among the big leaguers.
