Some familiar names were among the standouts from Week 3 of the 2026 Arizona Fall League season. But two players who’ve truly stood out over the first three-plus weeks were not exactly household names heading into the year.

O’Dowd continues strong camp

We noted in Week 2 that Jack O’Dowd had himself a strong start to the Arizona Fall League season. The Rockies prospect continued that torrid stretch with three more home runs.

O’Dowd led the league over the last week in the home run category, part of a six-hit week that was tied for first in the AFL alongside Eric Bitonti, Yerlin Confidan, and 2026 Giants draft pick Dalton Wentz.

Aside from O’Dowd, three other hitters had multi-home-run weeks in the Arizona Fall League. Those players were Teo Banks, Nick Monistere, Alex McCoy, and Brooks Bryan.

Miller racks up walks

It was a good week for Phillies prospect Aidan Miller, who was tied with Core Jackson and Dante Nori for the most walks (5) in the circuit this past week. Miller, when he did get an official at-bat in, went 2-for-4 with a double.

Miller, who missed nearly all of 2026 on the IL, is presently the AFL walks leader. The former first-rounder had 18 walks in his first nine games, five more than Arjun Nimmala for the league lead. Miller has by far the lowest Chase% in the circuit to this point, which is not a shock given the walk total. As of October 26, his Chase% was just 6.9%.

Some other notable players are also in that top 10, including Dax Kilby, Vance Honeycutt, Zyhir Hope, Eduardo Quintero, and Boston Smith. Honeycutt is currently third in the league in total walks (12).

Reilly among top pitchers

Orioles prospect Patrick Reilly had five more strikeouts this past week, one off the weekly lead held by five pitchers (Jarlin Susana, Jake Bloss, Emmett Olson, Ryan Dromboski, Luke Fox). Reilly allowed just one run and walked two over three innings.

Reilly, a fifth-round pick by the Pirates in 2023, didn’t pitch much over the past two seasons. However, the 25-year-old had a strong run in Double-A Chesapeake this year. And presently, his 40% Whiff% is third-best in the AFL. The only two pitchers behind him are Red Sox reliever Harry Blum and Braves reliever Tanner Bauman.

On the flip side, Stu Flesland III, Michael Watson, and former first-round pick Brandon Barriera are in the bottom three of the league in Whiff%.
