Major League Baseball and Sony San Diego gave baseball fans a first look at MLB The Show 24 in late January, thanks to a lengthy reveal trailer that included cover star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Additionally, Sony San Diego also confirmed when MLB The Show 24 will be released and what platforms it will be available on. But, will MLB The Show 24 be available on PC, a platform that hasn’t received a simulation baseball game in years? It doesn’t look like that will be the case.

Status of The Show 24 on PC
No, there will not be a PC version of MLB The Show 24.
In late January 2024, Sony San Diego confirmed what consoles MLB The Show 24 will be available for come March 19. MLB The Show 24 will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
However, PC will not receive a version of MLB The Show 24. MLB The Show has not been on PC since the franchise’s inception, even though the once-PlayStation exclusive is now available on the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox family of consoles.
We should note that MLB The Show is an outlier in this regard, at least when it comes to sports games.
Currently, EA Sports FC, Madden, WWE 2K, and NBA 2K all have received PC versions in recent years. However, there have been some differences between those versions and the current-gen console editions in that span.
EA Sports’ Super Mega Baseball 4 does, however, have a PC version. However, Super Mega Baseball is more arcade-style in nature and does not have official MLB teams.
It’s been a bit since an official MLB-licensed simulation baseball game was released on PC. The last one of its kind was MLB 2K12 back in 2012.
