Our last 2025 Arizona Fall League team preview focuses on the Surprise Saguaros. Surprise’s roster, comprised of Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Texas, Cleveland, and Kansas City prospects, includes several players who could be Major Leaguers next season. Chiefly among them is Rangers superstar prospect Sebastian Walcott.

| Emiliano Teodo | Rangers | AAA |
I’ll start with the Rangers, who are sending several interesting arms to the AFL.
One is Winston Santos, who only threw 17.1 IP in 2025 but struck out 183 over 110 innings last season. Big fastball in the 95-97 MPH range, along with a changeup that separates about 10 MPH off the four-seamer.
Kolton Curtis, an undrafted free agent pickup, sits 90-92 MPH with the fastball but can keep hitters off balance with his offspeed and breaking stuff. The lanky 6’4” righty struck out 75 over 66 innings.
Jose Corniell, a touted pitcher who missed most of 2025, made his MLB debut late in 2025.
Milwaukee’s group includes former LSU pitcher Michael Fowler, a fastball/curveball pitcher who can touch 97 MPH with the heater, and 2022 eighth-rounder Nate Peterson. Peterson, a left-hander, is Rule 5-eligible.
The Royals are sending heat (literally) to the AFL. Four notable pitching prospects joined Surprise for the 2025 season.
Hunter Owen, a tall left-hander drafted in the fourth round two years ago, struck out 107 over 94.2 IP this season. A.J. Causey, a fifth-rounder last year, was nearly unhittable this season. Causey conceded just 48 hits and struck out 75 over 73.1 IP. And Dennis Colleran, a hard-throwing reliever out of Northeastern, walked 34 over 66 this season but struck out 72.
Kansas City is also sending 2024 fourth-rounder L.P. Langevin, who threw only 21.1 IP in his first pro season.
Lastly, Cleveland’s group includes Daniel Espino, a 2019 first-round pick. Espino made his first official appearance in a game since 2022 back in September, a long wait for an injury-bitten arm. The velocity was good. Now, it’ll be a matter of him getting work for all the time he missed over the last three years.
The Guardians can take it slow with him, as Espino — added to the 40-man roster in November 2023 — does have an option available for 2026.
Catchers
| Player | MLB Team | Highest Lebel |
|---|---|---|
| Marco Dinges | Brewers | A+ |
| Ben Hartl | Rangers | AAA |
| Blake Mitchell | Royals | A+ |
| Malcolm Moore | Rangers | A+ |
Blake Mitchell is one of several young catchers for the Royals, albeit one who’s still far away from the Majors. He only played 49 games in High-A this season. He didn’t hit for as much power this season and struck out frequently, with 71 strikeouts over 49 games.
Malcolm Moore, a 2024 first-rounder, also had a down year. He slashed a combined .195/.300/.276 (.576 OPS) in an injury-shortened 2025 season.
Marco Dinges overcame a lot to get drafted in the fourth round last year. His 2025 season (.930 OPS, 13 HR over 257 AB) was pretty good when he was on the field. Across 47 games behind the plate, he threw out 17.8% of runners.
Infielders
| Player | MLB Team | Highest Level |
|---|---|---|
| Josh Adamczewski | Brewers | A+ |
| Luke Adams | Brewers | AA |
| Juan Benjamin | Guardians | A+ |
| Bryan Rincon | Phillies | A+ |
| Daniel Vazquez | Royals | AA |
| Sebastian Walcott | Rangers | AA |
By this time next year, Sebastian Walcott could be a current Major Leaguer. For now, though, the AFL will serve as yet another stepping stone for the youngster.
Walcott posted a .741 OPS and picked up 34 extra-base hits across the 2025 season, all of which were spent in Double-A Frisco. As a 19-year-old, those numbers are impressive. He also worked deep into counts (70 walks) and stole bases, painting the picture of a complete offensive threat.
As for other notable names, Josh Adamczewski has been very impressive since going pro, as he hit .315/.430/.480 (.910 OPS) over three pro seasons. The problem? He’s been limited to 115 games in that span.
Bryan Rincon has tools but hasn’t hit above .200 since the 2023 campaign. He spent all of his 84 games with High-A Jersey Shore.
Outfielders
| Player | MLB Team | Highest Level |
|---|---|---|
| Wuilfredo Antunez | Guardians | AA |
| Dylan Campbell | Phillies | AA |
| Dylan Dreiling | Rangers | A+ |
| Joe Lampe | Guardians | AAA |
| Dante Nori | Phillies | AA |
| Dylan O’Rae | Brewers | AA |
| Carson Roccaforte | Royals | AA |
Aside from a two-week stint on the IL, it was a very good year for Wuilfredo Antunez, who hit a career-high 18 home runs and 40 extra-base hits. Antunez is one of two Guardians outfielders on Surprise’s roster, along with Joe Lampe. Chase DeLauter, originally scheduled to head to the AFL for a third-straight season, was called up to the Majors during the playoffs.
Philadelphia is sending Dylan Campbell and Dante Nori. Campbell, a fourth-rounder back in 2023, posted a .665 OPS as a 24-year-old between High-A and Low-A. He was acquired from the Dodgers in July, as Los Angeles sent him to Philly to get international pool money for Roki Sasaki.
Nori, meanwhile, spent most of 2025 in Low-A Clearwater but played the last few weeks between High-A and Double-A. An athlete who stole 52 bases and walked 75 times this season, it wasn’t a bad first full year for the 2024 first-rounder.
Dylan Dreiling didn’t have that great of a first full pro season, as he posted a .700 OPS in High-A after dominating the SEC with Tennessee. However, he didn’t strike out (20.9%) a lot, worked counts, and picked up 15 extra-base hits across August.
Dylan O’Rae, an infielder/outfielder who weighs just 160 pounds, does not have much power. However, he can steal (62) and walk (14.9% BB%).
