It’s time to get ready for Week 4 of the 2025 fantasy baseball season. There were some significant breakout performers this past week, including Carson Kelly and a name we noted last week. So, here’s a look at our Week 4 hitter targets, including a pair of stolen base threats.
Best Week 4 hitters to target

- OF Jake Mangum (Rays)
- 1B/2B/3B/SS/OF Dylan Moore (Mariners)
- 2B/3B Connor Norby (Marlins)
First off, a brief recap of our Week 3 list, which came out a day earlier than usual.
Jung Hoo Lee belted two home runs on April 13, continuing what’s been an early-season rampage. Since then, he’s had hits in five of his last seven, and multi-hit games in three of those.
Sean Murphy hit his fourth home run of the season this past week, while Sal Frelick hit .316 with a home run and stolen base from April 13-19.
Now, let’s move to the Week 4 list. This list has a stolen base theme to it, so I’ll start with Jake Mangum and Dylan Moore.
Mangum, the 29-year-old and former MSU star, is currently the AL leader in stolen bases (8) in what’s been a solid start to his MLB career. The Rays outfielder is currently hitting .328/.368/.375 (.743 OPS) with 21 hits over his first 19 games.
The Rays have several speedsters on their team aside from Mangum, including notorious MiLB stolen base superstar Chandler Simpson. Simpson, from a pure upside standpoint, is more desirable than Mangum and would be the go-to. However, Simpson has his flaws, including a high chase mentality.
Now, that’s not to say Mangum doesn’t chase. He does (and a lot, with a 38.8% Chase%), as the 29-year-old has a more level approach and looks to find holes, as opposed to hitting the ball in the air. If Simpson isn’t available and Mangum is, the latter’s not a bad option right now.
Next up is Dylan Moore, who can play every position aside from catcher. That alone should get your attention. What should also get attention is that Moore hit .333 with two home runs and three stolen bases from April 13-19.
The 32-year-old Moore has more pop compared to Mangum and Simpson; Moore hit 10 home runs last season. The batting average (.316) will go down but there’s some mixed-league value here with Moore.
Tyler Fitzgerald had a good week. The Giants infielder, who hit 15 home runs last year, batted .391 with two home runs, plus five RBI and six runs scored from April 13-19. He notched another hit on April 20 to raise his average to .302.
Teams have been hitting Fitzgerald hard with breaking balls, as he’s seen more of those (43.2%) this season than fastballs (42.7%). But when gets a fastball, he does damage, as he’s currently batting .478 off them.
Speaking of hot hitters, TJ Friedl hit .450 (9-20) with four RBI from April 13-19. And while he didn’t effect the game on April 20 during the Reds’ 24-run onslaught compared to Austin Hays, Friedl notched a run scored and hit.
Don’t forget this about Friedl; two years ago, he picked up 18 home runs and 27 stolen bases for the Reds.
Lastly, former top prospect Connor Norby came back from the IL this past week. The Marlins infielder hit .313 with four runs scored over his first five games. Norby hit for power in the Minors, which included a 29-home run campaign in 2022. There’s 15-20 home run potential there at the MLB level, even in Miami.
