Catchers
| Name | 2026 Team |
|---|---|
| Brady Dallimore | TCU |
| Mateo Serna | Missouri |
As a freshman, Brady Dallimore handled things very well for the Horned Frogs. Dallimore hit eight home runs for TCU this season, third-most on the team this past season.
Mateo Serna slashed .240/.361/.312 as a regular in his junior season with Missouri.
Infielders
| Name | 2026 Team |
|---|---|
| Wesley Alig | Kennesaw State |
| Ethan Ball | Virginia Tech |
| Phoenix Call | UCLA |
| Tommy Goodin | Vanderbilt |
| Brodie Johnston | Vanderblt |
| Ty Mainolfi | Boston College |
| Avery Ortiz | Oklahoma State |
| KJ Scobey | South Carolina |
| Kevin Takeuchi | USC |
It would be hyperbole to state this is a “who’s who” of college baseball infielders — but the Red Sox have several notables.
Junior Kevin Takeuchi had one heck of a postseason run for the USC Trojans, as he recorded a hit in all but one game between the Big 10 tourney and the Super Regionals. Seven of those games saw him pick up two or more, highlighted by a three-hit contest in Game 1 of the Supers against UNC.
Tommy Goodin and Brodie Johnston were two of six Commodores to have a double-digit home run campaign. Johnston was a force for Vandy this season, as the sophomore batted .333 and tied with Mike Mancini for the most homers (15) on the team.
KJ Scobey hit eight home runs as a freshman for the Gamecocks but didn’t take a big step forward in a tough season for the program. He slashed .252/.307/455 with nine home runs for South Carolina in 2026.
Avery Ortiz was an every day for the Oklahoma State Cowboys in 2024 but missed most of both 2025 and 2026. He did hit four home runs after his ultimate return in early May, highlighted by two home runs in the NCAA tourney.
Outfielders
| Name | 2026 Team |
|---|---|
| John Beverley | Georgia State |
| Caleb Daniel | Georgia Tech |
| Brock Ketelsen | Stanford |
| Jake Souders | Samford |
Georgia Tech had eight hitters pick up at least 10 home runs in a single season. Daniel, who hit 10 after a seven-home run season in 2025, was one of those players. Although six of those 10 home runs came before March 12.
Brock Ketelsen was a noteworthy freshman at Stanford, one who hit well in summer ball last year before he arrived on campus. However, Ketelsen, who started 12 games for the Cardinal in 2026, slashed .154/.389/.308 in limited at-bats.
John Beverley hit .364 as a sophomore for Georgia State this past season.
