It was a loaded day of action on April 3 across the Division I landscape. Oklahoma got back on track after a loss the day before, while Georgia Tech, UCLA, Texas, and Oregon State were among the schools to pick up victories on the day.

SEC recap

Texas A&M scored 20 combined runs in two games in a two-game doubleheader sweep of Vanderbilt. Gavin Grahovac and Chris Hacopian each hit home runs in the doubleheader.

Florida pitcher Aidan King struck out eight over seven shutout innings for the Florida Gators. The Gators defeated Ole Miss 2-0.

The Georgia Bulldogs took Game 2 of their three-game series against Mississippi State 3-1. Ryan Wynn and Michael O’Shaughnessy each hit home runs for the Bulldogs.

Oklahoma took Game 2 of their set with Alabama 4-2. Cameron Johnson struck out eight over 6.1 innings. Drew Dickerson and Jason Walk had two hits for the Sooners.

Ryder Helfrick had two home runs for Arkansas, who won 3-2 over the Auburn Tigers. Hunter Dietz struck out 11 over seven innings.

Derek Curiel hit a home run and drove in four for LSU against Tennessee. The Tigers defeated the Volunteers 7-5. Landon Mack struck out 10 for the Vols in a losing effort.

Carson Tinney went deep twice for Texas, as the Longhorns beat South Carolina 5-3.

Kentucky fell to Missouri 5-4.

ACC recap

Trey Beard struck out seven in a winning effort for Florida State. Jake Weatherspoon (UVA) and Hunter Carns (FSU) both hit home runs in Charlottesville.

UNC defeated Boston College 5-2. Jake Schaffner and Gavin Gallaher each had multiple extra-base hits in the game.

Four home runs from Wake Forest helped push the Demon Deacons to an 8-2 victory over Pittsburgh. Chris Levonas struck out seven over 6.1 innings for Wake Forest.

Miami (FL) blew out Virginia Tech 19-1.

Clemson and Georgia Tech both won out on the West Coast, defeating Stanford and California, respectively.

Big 12 recap

A Dee Kennedy walk-off sacrifice fly gave Kansas State a 13-12 victory over TCU.

UCF continued their strong start with a 5-0 victory over West Virginia. Andrew Williamson hit two home runs for the Knights.

Despite 12 strikeouts from Cole Carlon, Arizona State lost 7-4 to Arizona after a seven-run seventh inning for the Wildcats.

Oklahoma State defeated Cincinnati 12-9.

Other notes

Oregon State beat Lamar 8-0. Dax Whitney struck out 10 for the Beavers.

UCLA took the first game of a massive series against USC by a score of 12-4. The Bruins improved to a perfect 13-0 record in Big 10 play.

Collin Clarke struck out seven for Oregon, as the Ducks defeated Michigan 5-2.

Southern Miss and Coastal Carolina both lost on April 3. CCU lost 15-2 to South Alabama, while the Golden Eagles fell 10-8 on the road.
