Midweek action was abundant in the Division I baseball circuit on March 31. The last day of March featured some upsets, as Arkansas and Florida were among the teams to fall on the day. Meanwhile, Georgia Tech picked up another big win on the year.

The Texas Longhorns scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth to avoid an upset at the hands of Texas State. Ethan Mendoza went deep for the Longhorns, as did Casey Borba.
Georgia, meanwhile, avoided their own potential upset. One week after the Bulldogs lost to in-state rival Kennesaw State, Georgia Tech went up 9-6 in the eighth after a six-run inning. However, UGA scored eight in the bottom of that inning to secure a victory. Tre Phelps hit his second home run of the day to finish the job.
Arkansas lost to Missouri State 15-14 in 10 innings. Eight home runs were hit in the game, including one by Caden Bogenpohl that walked off the Razorbacks. Cam Kozeal, Nolan Souza, and Ryder Helfrick all hit home runs for Arkansas.
Florida, meanwhile, lost to Jacksonville 4-3. A three-run eighth inning by the Dolphins gave Jacksonville a lead that would not be relinquished.
Tennessee defeated Austin Peay 13-4. Garrett Wright, Henry Ford, and Tyler Myatt all hit home runs for the Volunteers.
Mississippi State shut out Grambling 12-0. Left-hander Jack Bauer picked up the win in relief.
Oklahoma pitched a 4-0 shutout against Oral Roberts.
ACC recap
The marquee matchup of the day came in Atlanta, as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets won 13-3 and avenged their early-season loss to Auburn. Drew Burress picked up two hits, while Ryan Zuckerman and Vahn Lackey hit home runs.
Four strikeouts from Jake Dorn and four hits from Jake Ogden helped push the Miami (FL) Hurricanes to a 12-4 victory over FGCU.
Noah Sheffield‘s two-run home run in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie with Stetson. The Seminoles ultimately won 6-3 over the Hatters.
Louisville blew out Eastern Kentucky 17-7.
High Point upset Wake Forest 1-0. An RBI single from SeoJun Oh in the seventh inning was the difference for the Panthers.
Big 12 recap
Kansas State defeated BYU 16-3 in a non-conference game. Dee Kennedy picked up two home runs and a double, while Shintaro Inoue had three hits in the victory.
Colin Bruegemann hit two home runs for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, who won 14-5 over Dallas Baptist.
Chase Brunson, Noah Franco, and Sawyer Stronsider all drove in runs for TCU on March 31. The Horned Frogs won 8-6 over Lamar.
Kansas defeated Missouri 11-8.
Other notes
The Oregon Ducks lost to Portland 3-0 on March 31. Jonas Salk and Brady Bean hit home runs for Portland, while Aaron Louis threw four scoreless innings.
Meanwhile, their in-state rival, Oregon State, was blown out 18-2 by Washington.
Angel Cervantes picked up the win for UCLA against UC Irvine. The Bruins won 9-1.
Southern Miss fell to Southeastern Louisiana 5-1 at home.
Coastal Carolina, meanwhile, defeated The Citadel 3-2.
