It’s the final week before the 2026 All-Star break, meaning one last chance to get things right before a pause. Our Week 15 hitter waiver wire target list includes one of the most under-the-radar players who can be found in fantasy right now, plus an emerging slugger from the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Best Week 15 hitters to target

• 1B/OF Esmerlyn Valdez (Pirates)

It’s weird for a player who could wind up with 85-90 RBI in a single season to still be available in so many leagues. But that is the case with Josh Bell, who had a fine weekend in The Bronx. Bell hit two home runs on July 4 and had four total hits on the weekend.

With that weekend, Bell put himself in a tie for 10th in the Majors in total RBI with 60. Again, a player like Bell is rare to find in fantasy leagues. And yet, he should be readily available.

Blaze Alexander had three multi-hit games this week, highlighted by a three-hit contest on the 5th against the Reds. He plays virtually every day at this point and is worth a pickup, especially since Alexander is so versatile from a position standpoint.

Mickey Moniak and TJ Rumfield are two more of those interesting players to watch. When Moniak is healthy, he can be very valuable, and he was this week with three home runs. Moniak is now up to 15 home runs in only 188 at-bats.

As for Rumfield, he’s picked up 94 hits this season, tied with Alec Burleson and Bryan Reynolds for the 18th-most in the Majors.

However, perhaps the most interesting name available is Esmerlyn Valdez, who had five multi-hit games over his last eight heading into July 6. Valdez is also quite the power hitter, and the Pirates rookie already has six in 66 at-bats this year.

Overview of Week 14

Again, another good week for those who listened to our Week 14 advice.

Carson Benge added another home run to his ledger and picked up a hit in all but one game over the past week. Chase DeLauter had three multi-hit games this week, plus a home run during the Guardians’ homestand against the Rangers and White Sox.

Tommy Edman went deep for his first home run, part of a four-hit game on June 30. However, he didn’t start in two of the four games this weekend against the Padres.
