It’s time to take a look at more fantasy baseball waiver wire targets, as Week 14 of the 2026 fantasy baseball season approaches. Injuries to familiar faces mean opportunity, as several notable hitters should be readily available in leagues. Plus, a rookie with the Mets has emerged as a must-own option in all fantasy formats.

Best Week 14 hitters to target

We’ll start with Carson Benge, one of the Mets’ rookie outfielders and one who’s performed much better since a difficult start to his first MLB season.

The past few weeks have been kind to the rookie, highlighted by a five-hit game in San Diego, and most recently, a very nice past 10 days before the 28th. Thirteen hits, good for a top-15 spot in the Majors, as well as two home runs and seven runs scored. That latter point is notable, as Benge has been the Mets’ primary leadoff hitter of late.

Tommy Edman, meanwhile, has 11 hits over his last nine games, as well as four RBI and four walks (helpful for those in points leagues).

Even though Edman’s been a stolen base threat in recent years, the Dodgers as a whole have not tested it on the basepaths too much. Heading into June 28, the Dodgers had the fourth-fewest stolen bases (33) in the Majors. It’s not wise to expect too much in that department from Edman. However, he can hit.

Yainer Diaz went 8-26 (.308 AVG) over the last week, with one of his hits being a home run. Good value pickup for those in need of a catcher, especially when taking into account that Diaz missed significant time this year due to injury.

And speaking of injuries, Chase DeLauter and Heliot Ramos are back from the IL. Take that into your weekly roster decisions. DeLauter, who had a cold stretch before his trip, is more of a wild card.

Overview of Week 13

This past week was a good one for Paul Goldschmidt, who had three home runs between June 20 and 27. Two of those came off Tarik Skubal in Detroit.

Jake Burger, another first baseman on our Week 13 list, batted .391 over the week with two home runs and six RBI.

Brooks Lee, just like Burger, also had himself a two-home run week. Carter Jensen tallied a home run off Craig Kimbrel this past week in Tampa Bay.

The bottom line is this: if you listened to our advice, you did well this past week.
