Several notable power-hitting outfielders landed on the injured list on June 10, one of whom was Ronald Acuna Jr. Additionally, Seth Lugo left his start early, and the Red Sox will be without Garrett Crochet for a little longer.

Lugo exits after taking shot to head

Royals pitcher Seth Lugo was removed from his start on June 10 after he took a comebacker off his head on a ball hit by Brandon Nimmo. He did get back up shortly thereafter.

Per manager Matt Quatraro, Lugo underwent a CT scan as a precaution. However, results from testing didn’t come back by the end of the game.

Crochet not close to return

Garrett Crochet told the Boston Globe that the lat strain he is covering from is “worse than we thought.”

The left-hander, who’s been out since late April due to a shoulder injury, does not have an idea when he will return.
