With one month to go until the 2026 MLB All-Star Game, the league opened up voting for the Midsummer Classic on June 3. It begins a month-long process to determine the All-Stars, starting with who will be on the field when the game begins on July 14. So, here’s a look at how to vote for the 2026 All-Stars.
Where is the All-Star Game Ballot?
As has become tradition for the league, the 2026 MLB All-Star Game ballot is available online at mlb.com.
How voting works
Much like in past years, the All-Star Game ballot vote works in two stages.
The first one will feature a near all-encompassing vote, as individuals can choose from a wide range of players. Additionally, a write-in vote will also be permitted for ballplayers who are not listed for a particular position on the ballot.

One player for each infield position & DH slot, and three outfielders for both leagues, can be chosen for each ballot.
The top vote-getter for the American & National Leagues, respectively, after Phase 1 will be automatically added to the 2026 All-Star Game roster.
For the second phase, the field is cut down. The top two players at each infield position & DH, and the top six vote receivers among the remaining outfielders, will be on the ballot.
However, if an outfield wins in Phase 1, the top four outfielders would be on the ballot for Phase 2 in that league(s). If an infielder wins, that position would be removed from Phase 2 completely.
The top vote-getter(s) at each position will become a starter for the All-Star Game.
How long will Phase 1 voting take place?
The first phase of voting ran from June 3, 2026, through June 25, 2026. Phase 1 will end at 12 PM ET on the 25th.
Who were the top-vote getters in Phase 1?
