The Twins will look for improved results in 2025 after faltering in September of last year. Minnesota will head into the year with several young starters at the MLB level, as well as others on the cusp of the Majors. One of those names will be in big league camp as a non-roster invitee, as well as a breakout bat from 2024.

Arguably the most notable name is Luke Keaschall, the Twins’ 2023 second-round pick. Keaschall had a breakout campaign last season, slashing .303/.420/.483 (.903 OPS) with 15 home runs, 23 stolen bases, and 37 extra-base hits. The 22-year-old missed the last few weeks of 2024 after undergoing Tommy John surgery.

Given the fact Keaschall underwent elbow ligament reconstruction late last year, expect him to be a DH in 2025. However, the former Arizona State product played at multiple positions last year, including first, second, and center field.

The other notable prospect is Andrew Morris, who could see time in 2025 as a starter for the Twins. Morris had a big 2024, as well, finishing the year in St. Paul (AAA) during a season where he struck out 133 over 133 frames and opposing batters hit .210.

The Twins also invited infielder Yunior Severino, who had a down 2024 in Triple-A after he belted 35 home runs during the 2023 season. Severino will be headed to Florida with the big league team along with former UConn product and his 2024 Saints teammate, Patrick Winkel.

Other notable names include Alex Isola, Jeferson Morales, Alex Speas, Cory Lewis, and Ryan Jensen.

Jensen, who spent 2024 with the St. Paul Saints, was a first-round pick by the Cubs in 2019.

These names join the list of players previously named as non-roster invitees by Minnesota. Scott Blewett, Huascar Ynoa, Anthony Misiewicz, Darren McCaughan, and Randy Dobnak will join the above players in Fort Myers.

Aside from the Twins, the Mets also confirmed their non-roster invitee list on February 10.
