When does it start & how long is the 2024 college baseball season?
Before we go over how to watch college baseball in 2024, let’s first go over the length of the 2024 NCAA college baseball season. NCAA baseball action is set to kick off on the weekend of February 16 and regular season action will run through the weekend of May 17.
The conference tournaments, including the ACC and SEC Baseball Tournaments, are set for the week of May 20.
ESPN and ESPN+

College baseball fans should get well-acquainted with the ESPN family of networks. ESPN traditionally airs games on ESPNU, as well as the SEC and ACC-affiliated networks. These games can also be seen on the network’s app with a valid cable or satellite subscription linked.
Additionally, games will also air on ESPN3, as well as ACC and SEC+ via the ESPN app.
Then, there’s also ESPN+. ESPN+ is the network’s streaming service, and it’s worth noting that Big 12 games, as well as other conferences, will air on ESPN+.
Those who have an ESPN+ subscription, which costs $10.99/month or $109.99/year, will be able to watch games on this platform. However, be forewarned that an ESPN+ subscription does not substitute for a cable/satellite package.
Thus, access to ESPNU, the ACC Network, and the SEC Network — even for those who have ESPN+ — will be restricted unless a valid cable/satellite package is connected to an ESPN account.
FloBaseball

One name that’s gained significant influence in the streaming world in recent years is FloSports. FloSports‘ baseball arm, FloBaseball, shows regular season games from the CAA and the Big East.
Additionally, other events, including the 2024 Shriners Children’s College Showdown, will also air on FloSports.
It is, however, important to note that one must pay to watch some live and archived content from FloSports. A subscription costs $12.95 per month. Other content may be available on their YouTube channel, so make sure to keep an eye on that.
Other networks

Other networks will air NCAA college baseball games throughout the year.
MLB Network and MLB.com will air games from the MLB Desert Invitational, which takes place from February 16-19, 2024, and features eight schools: Boston College, BYU, California, Georgetown, USC, Ohio State, Kansas State, and Grand Canyon.
The Big 10 Network and Big+ will also likely air games featuring Big 10 schools, much like in prior years. The same can be said for the Pac-12 Network.
HiCast Sports Network, meanwhile, will air games from the Shipyard Tournament in Charleston, South Carolina from February 16-18.
For those unsure, check a team’s official website for schedule and broadcast information.
Team websites
As mentioned earlier, it’s highly recommended that NCAA college baseball fans check teams’ websites for broadcast information. This is because college teams aren’t usually shown on the same platform throughout the year.
For example, Long Island University (LIU) in New York had games shown on their conference’s streaming app, NEC Front Row, as well as ESPN3, FloSports, and ESPN+ in 2023.
NCAA College Baseball Tournament & College World Series
Upon the conclusion of the NCAA regular season and conference tournaments, all teams that get selected will play in the NCAA College Baseball Tournament to decide a winner.
Per the official NCAA website, the NCAA Tournament Division 1 Selection Date is May 27 and Regionals begin on May 31. Super Regionals will run from June 7-10, 2024. Lastly, the College World Series will run from June 14-24, 2024.
ESPN owns the TV broadcasting rights for the NCAA Tournament, including the College World Series. Games are traditionally aired on the ESPN family of networks, as well as the ESPN app.
