On April 4, San Diego Studiosdropped a new Conquest for MLB The Show 23’s Diamond Dynasty. This one is an ode to cover athlete Jazz Chisholm Jr., as it’s entitled Smooth Jazz. So, how can you complete the Smooth Jazz Conquest and what rewards are hidden in the map? Let’s take a look at the map in more detail.

The Conquest

Here’s a look at the map. Given the name of the map, the Conquest is in the shape of a saxophone.

There are five teams that need to be conquered in this challenge: the Orioles, Marlins, Mariners, Brewers, and Dodgers. And, there are six goals that need to be completed in order to fulfill all the requirements for this event.

Here are the six goals:

• Goal 1: Conquer 23 territories on the map (rewards are 25 XP and 50 Stubs)
• Goal 2: Acquire 50M fans on the map (rewards are 100 XP and 500 Stubs)
• Goal 3: Capture the two AL (Orioles and Mariners) Strongholds (reward is MLB The Show 23 pack) (REPEATABLE)
• Goal 4: Capture the three NL (Brewers, Marlins, and Dodgers) Strongholds (reward is MLB The Show 23 pack) (REPEATABLE)
• Goal 5: Capture all six Strongholds (the five MLB teams plus your Diamond Dynasty team’s Stronghold) on the map (reward is MLB The Show 23 pack) (REPEATABLE)
• Goal 6: Conquer all Territories on the map (rewards are MLB The Show 23 pack and 300 Stubs) (REPEATABLE)

The latter four goals are all repeatable. This means that each time you complete the map, you can receive four MLB The Show packs.

The Hidden Rewards

Here’s a look at all the hidden rewards that can be found within the map:

• MLB The Show 23 pack (x4)
• Ballin’ is a Habit pack
• 250 Stubs
• Diamond Duo Set 1 pack

Unlike Goals 3-6, hidden rewards can only be obtained once. This map won’t expire, but it won’t yield any XP towards Season 1 or any season upon completion.
